Electric Tourism Aircraft

During the pre-master of Mechanical engineering one of the projects is the minor aircraft engineering in which a fully electrical aircraft had to be designed. This showed the disadvantages of low energy dense fuel such as batteries which have to be overcome with other changes to the design. To achieve this the aircraft was designed for tourism flight of less than 100km using a distributed propulsion system which allowed the aircraft to reach its necessary range due to increased efficiency of flight through this type of propulsion.
